Pouderoyen FC gets donation of football gear

West Demerara outfit Pouderoyen FC was the beneficiary of several pieces of football equipment donated by former player and member Anton Peterson and Carlotta Gardner.

This was confirmed by the club via a press release.

According to the correspondence, the club received 10 balls, 20 training vests, 10 high cones, four sprinting ladders and two tactical coaching boards.  Head-coach Travis ‘Zoti’ Bess during brief remarks, said, “The executive committee, the coaching staff and the players are very grateful to both Anton Peterson and Carlotta Gardner for this timely donation to the club. It will go a long way in helping us in the restart of football. We very much appreciate it, and hope that other former members of the club who reside overseas and locally can come on board in any small way they can and assist the club.”
