The Trinidadian firm which has won the $780m contract to rehabilitate the neo-gothic City Hall has advertised for an art restoration specialist.
In an advertisement in today’s Kaieteur News, Fides Guyana Inc said that the specialist must have at least seven years’ experience.
The firm is also seeking a civil engineer. This person must have at least seven years’ experience in restoration projects, structural reinforcement and project management. Vacancies also exist for a metal casting specialist, who must also have at least seven years’ experience, a joinery specialist and a mason and general labourers.
