Tuschen shop owner found dead with duct tape across mouth

Police are investigating the death of a Tuschen Housing Scheme, Region Three shop owner who was earlier this morning found lifeless by a neighbour with duct tape across his mouth .

The dead man has been identified as Keith Richard Hohenkirk, 59.

Information reaching this newspaper stated that the man, who has a disability, operates a shop and lived alone. He was found sometime after 6 am today by a neighbour who normally checks on him. Stabroek News was told that he was found on his bed with duct tape across his mouth.

His cellular phone and cash from the house were missing. His shop was also found ransacked.
