Is the WPA a worthy contender for political power in Guyana?

Dear Editor,

The WPA is often visible in the media but it is still yet to demonstrate it has any relevance to Guyana’s politics. When will it hold a delegates’ congress like all other political parties do? Until it does it is not worthy to be considered as a serious contender for political power in Guyana. The party is simply what it says: it is an alliance – of what? Indians as represented by Moses Bhagwan’s Indian Political Revolutionary Associates and Africans of the ASCRIA of Eusi Kwayana? Both men are living in the USA and both organizations are defunct. The WPA for all intentions and purposes is just a shell organization.

Sincerely,

Sultan Mohamed
