The Guyana Police Force (GPF) Rugby team won its maiden championship on Saturday at the National Park where the GRFU Sevens was staged.
En route to lifting their first trophy, the GPF ruggers led by National coach, Theo Henry drew 5-5 with GDF but secured nail biting wins in their final two encounters.
They defeated Panthers 24-22 and Caribs 15-14 in the final.
