Two more succumb to COVID

The Ministry of Health yesterday reported that two more persons have died from COVID-19.

The two victims were a 64-year-old male of Region Four, and another male, age 68, of Region Two. The victims who were both fully vaccinated died on June 23 and June 28 respectively.

As such, the country’s death toll has now increased to 1,253.

A total of 104 new cases were recorded. The cases were recorded from Region One with 2, Region Two with 11, Region Three recorded 3, Region Four recorded 52, Region Six with 26, Region Seven with 6 cases, Region Nine with 3 and Region Ten with 1.

The number of persons in the ICU has been stated as 2, while 32 are in institutional isolation and 868 are in home isolation.
