Attorney and elections commissioner Bibi Shadick has died.
The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana announced the passing of Shadick at her East Street, Georgetown, residence at 15:00 hrs today.
Fellow government-nominated member of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) Sase Gunraj also confirmed her death.
Shadick was also a former PPP/C Minister of Government, holding the portfolio of Human Services and Social Security.
