A 52-year-old Region Seven man was on Friday declared the country’s latest COVID-19 fatality.
The Health Ministry reported that the unvaccinated man died on August 8 at the Infectious Disease Hospital at Liliendaal, taking the country’s death toll from the virus to 1,275.
Meanwhile, the ministry’s updated COVID-19 dashboard showed 45 new cases were recorded after 411 COVID tests were conducted. The updated dashboard also showed that there was 1 person in the COVID-19 ICU, 13 in institutional isolation and 481 in home isolation.
