Minister issues prohibition order against two immigrants

Minister of Home Affairs Robeson Benn has issued a prohibition order against two immigrants, one of whom is being sought by Interpol.

According to the Official Gazette, the order was issued on Monday January 9th.

It said that the purpose of the order was to declare Chaohui Lin, passport number EG134799 and Kunbin Chen passport number EB8442448 prohibited immigrants in accordance with Section 3(3) (b) of the Immigration Act, Chapter 14:02.   The order said that this was based on information that Chaohui Lin is wanted by Interpol pursuant to a Red Notice published on the 24th day of November, 2011 and information that Kunbin Chen is a close associate of Chaohui Lin and may be involved in similar criminal activities as Chaohui Lin.

In accordance with the said information, Benn declared that the two are prohibited immigrants.
