Eighteen-year-old Judaiah Singh was yesterday charged with stealing a million-dollar chain when he appeared before Magis-trate Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
The charge alleged that on May 13, 2025, on Longden Street, Singh stole a gold chain valued at $1,008,000, the property of Rihanna Agar.
Singh, a labourer, pleaded not guilty to the charge. His attorney, Adrian Thompson, told the court that Singh had no prior brushes with the law and maintained his innocence, stating that Singh “indicated it was not him.”
However, the prosecution informed the court that Singh and the virtual complainant are known to each other and that the victim positively identified him on the day of the alleged theft.
