Blanhum and Hicken deserve commendation

Dear Editor, Not since the heady days of Donald Haynes and Cecil ‘Skip’ Roberts as Crime Chiefs ably supported by the likes of Ignatius McRae, Vernon Gentle, Henry Chester, and Michael Marks, to name just a few, have I seen the kind of successes the Guyana Police Force through its Criminal Investigations Department is having these days.

Dear Editor, Scores of families in Region Two who are engaged in the rearing of pigs and poultry now face a threat to their survival from an acute shortage of local stockfeed, with the price of bran having jumped to an all-time high of $1,200 for a 60 pound bag.

A campaign to end false name-calling?

Dear Editor, There is a general clean-up campaign going on. While we are at it, wouldn’t it be nice if we could start a campaign, or rather, stop a campaign that has been going on for years now, ie, that of calling people false or offensive names?
