Once again, it has become imperative that I respond to content in the media about myself, having read, the front page headline of the Guyana Chronicle (October 21st) captioned `NCN CEO gets higher pay than ministers –New Board uneasy about performance’.

One of the contentions of the coalition government regarding ministerial salary increase is the argument put forward by the President himself that higher salary increases for ministers (presumably not the rank and file public servants) will lead to “good governance”.

It seems like before the ink could even dry on the last letter I wrote (via the printed media) to GTT about their internet service that leaves a lot more to be desired, here I am again in a sense of deja vu expressing the utter dissatisfaction of customers at the cellular service GTT offers.
