Dear Editor, Please permit me to vent my disgust with a video commercial advertising the Malta drink. 

Dear Editor, Guyanese continue to flout Covid-19 rules and protocols.  On Sunday September 26th 2021 around 7.30 pm I was travelling east on Carifesta Avenue and on approaching Vlissengen Road, looking north to the seawall, one could see the long stretches of massive groups of persons sitting in clusters on the seawall with no masks, very few could be seen wearing masks. 

Dear Editor, Guyana may be a good candidate for a new administrative capital.

Dear Editor, Discontentment seems to be growing in private sector and other influential circles over the pace with which Local Content Legislation/Policy formulation and implementation are moving.

Dear Editor, In September’s New Nation (organ of the PNCR), there appears what is termed “a revolutionary plan to equip and support teachers and deliver quality education to our children” during the pandemic.

Dear Editor,  A letter in SN on 2/10/2021 titled: “There is a collective indifference to the chronic degradation of Le Repentir Cemetery” ended with the following rhetoric:  “Why don’t they burn away the place with some crematoriums?”

Dear Editor, I strongly believe the poor people in this country called Guyana cannot have something called justice.

Dear Editor, It is October, ‘Pinktober’ as reverently called in Guyana. 

Dear Editor, In a previous rollout schedule for the 25k one off grant and 2022 pension book distribution, it was stated that the location for North Cummingsburg would have been the post office located at Lamaha and Carmichael streets.

Dear Editor, Strange things do happen for which the scientific explanations are not always readily available.

Dear Editor,  I am deeply saddened by the destruction by fire of the Brickdam Police Station.

Dear Editor, As we wind down our celebration of Amerindian Heritage, 2021, it would be amiss of me, an Amerindian, not to highlight the very important sector of Agriculture, as it relates to Amerindian development.

Dear Editor, Leader of the Opposition Joseph Harmon said, “It is with a heavy heart that I…announce the ‘untimely death’ of our friend and colleague, Imran Khan, who served as Communications Director in the office of the Leader of the Opposition up to today.”

Dear Editor, It must be seen as an affront to the hard working and professional female employees at the national water company, (SN Oct 2), and indeed the female gender in general, the roll out of the all-male hierarchy team. 

Dear Editor, Over the years, we’ve seen the emergence of many private garbage disposal services.

Dear Editor, One does not know to whom the Senior Public Relations Manager, Guyana Sugar Corporation reports, but the latter should accept responsibility for some of the adventurous formulations seen in a letter published in SN of October 1.

Dear Editor, It will be remiss of me not to acknowledge comrade Rohit Kanhai ‘s letter published in the Stabroek News, Thursday, September 30, 2021 edition under the caption, “ In politics the struggle for power always obliterates logic “.

Dear Editor, I applaud the government, Ministry of Education, for moving to in school learning.

Dear Editor, While our attention is usually primarily fixed on the nation’s racial passions and emotional seductions nurtured by those, I think there is a still worse divide.
