Dear Editor, Time and again we attend public gatherings ─ celebrations, commemorations, observances etc.

Dear Editor, In trying to support a poor Guyanese single-parent family through a temporary period of rough waters and facing homelessness, I approached the Ministry of Social Protection for assistance to the family.

Dear Editor,  Troy Resources Ltd,  a gold mining company recently announced the severing of over 300 employees.

Dear Editor, So the mining company’s decision is deemed ‘unconscionable’. Was it not unconscionable when seven thousand sugar workers, their families and communities were cast aside with no alternative plan to this day for their future well being?

Dear Editor,  I  am  a customer of Republic Bank  and for some  reason I cannot  understand why  all of my online transactions  were  frozen. 

Dear Editor, Guyana cannot move forward unless there is racial unity and political reconciliation.

Dear Editor, Care is a key element in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and educating everyone on children’s rights is a larger part of developing strong families and safe communities to provide adequate care to children.

Dear Editor,  Guyana is one of the most depressing countries to live in because Guyanese have to battle with the harsh economic conditions, out-of- control crime spree, and daily insults to their intelligence by some politicians and their minions who dominate the traditional media and social media.

Dear Editor, That the discussion of cash transfer, conditional or unconditional, is a continuing theme in the press is a sign that Guyanese are interested in how their government uses scarce resources to enrich their lives (or make life more miserable).

Dear Editor,  The minority arm of the coalition was loud and adamant that come Monday, November 18 2019 it was going to make and take decisive action concerning its political future.
