Dear Editor, The Cummingsburg Accord talks are underway and the AFC are getting their turn to deal with the doyen of duplicity, David Granger.

Dear Editor, Permit me to pen my opinion by firstly taking umbrage at the statement made by GPHC Chief Executive Officer Brigadier George Lewis, following the birth landing on a hospital floor of a newborn.

Dear Editor, I am quite disappointed to hear that there is a decrease in ads to the Stabroek News (SN).

Dear Editor, Indigenous heritage month celebrations have gone and we are now in October.

Dear Editor, It would appear that the recent protest by the Opposition has had a serious effect on the minds of the Government Leader; His Excellency, President David Arthur Granger, and officials of the Government, including the Guyana Police Force.

Dear Editor, I write this letter conscious of my responsibility to the Guyanese nation bearing in mind my prominent role in the polemics at the time when there were unprecedented extrajudicial killings that engulfed Guyana.

Dear Editor, The cut in government advertisements to Stabroek News must be condemned.

Dear Editor, The Global Potential for Industrial Hemp is lucrative and this is the time that President Granger must pay attention and remove the barriers for the establishment of an Industrial Hemp Industry in the country.

Dear Editor, For the second time in over a decade independent daily, Stabroek News has been on the receiving end of the ire of a sitting government — through the biting and stinging means available.

Dear Editor, As the national elections approaches, political parties have been broadly addressing key policy initiatives they believe would benefit Guyana in the coming decade, during which oil revenues are expected to give Government access to an additional source of wealth.

Dear Editor, It has been fifty-two days since I have been without telephone and internet service due to a cable problem at 3rd Street, Ocean View, Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara.

Dear Editor, If there is one iota of truth regarding allegations of a reduction in the number of government advertisements to the Stabroek News, that must be cause for serious concern for all those who cherish the ideals of a free and independent press.

Dear Editor, Today it is Stabroek News.  Tomorrow it could be the turn of Kaieteur News to feel the blunt blow of the advertising axe. 

Dear Editor,     The Caribbean Voice commends the media for publishing helpline contact info at the end of articles and programmes and urging anyone who is depressed or suicidal to seek help.

Dear Editor, It must be queried, in the matter of the hush-hush and secret review, which was never made public until now, of a two decades old decision by a former government agency, involving two former employees, was the matter not referred to the court system, where others have had to go for perceived injustice?

Dear Editor, Three occurrences impacting the Guyana Police Force were recently announced.

Dear Editor, I welcome the correction by the Chairperson of GECOM to its previously announced position which required the attendance of persons at the GECOM offices in order to be included on the list of electors during this period of “claims and objections”.

Dear Editor, I have read with some interest the issues relating to Stabroek News and the Government.

Dear Editor, Kindly allow me to comment on the recent (alleged) shakedown by a CANU officer, who reportedly attempted to falsely accuse an outgoing passenger at CJI Airport of having an illegal substance in her suitcase; an experience that she recorded and published on social media.

Dear Editor,  After giving quite a bit of thought to our current unfortunate situation on the coast it has become apparent that we will eventually need to relocate our coastal population to a new capital city.
