Dear Editor, I was taken back by the following headline in  the Kaieteur News edition of  11 November 2019 `Contract deal shocking…Rusal ships out 12 times more than what they declare yearly’.

Dear Editor, Allow me to express a lingering thought on a matter that is now history.

Dear Editor, Paragraph 5 of the Judgment of the Caribbean Court of Justice delivered on 12 July 2019 on consequential orders flowing from the passage of the No Confidence Motion passed by the National Assembly on December 21, 2018, stated:  “The judiciary interprets the Constitution.

Dear Editor, A letter and a news item published by your newspaper moved me to pen this missive to suggest that the time is nigh for a consensus by elected officials for a National Truth and Reconciliation intervention.  

Dear Editor, The deterioration of a section of the road to the Haags Bosch Landfill Site, between Republic Gardens and the eastern end of the Windsor Estates gated community, poses serious risks of damage to vehicles and injury to users of that road.

Dear Editor, Reference is being made to Frederick Kissoon’s letter `Lewis’ position on the state ads cutoff to SN is nonsensical’ (SN Nov 11th).

Dear Editor, Guyana is buried deep in a constitutional crisis because of the decision of our political players to not hold elections within three months of the successful passage of the no-confidence motion or based on an extension granted by 2/3 of the National Assembly.

Last week the Government Analyst-Food and Drugs Department (GAFDD) announced that yet another consignment of expired foods had found its way into Guyana and that some of it had breached the official monitoring systems that ought to be afforded by the Customs and Trade Administration and by now, have almost certainly found their way onto the local market.

Dear Editor, I am writing this letter from Havana, Cuba where I have been over the past week attending the Havana International Fair and Expo and cannot resist  the compulsion to publicly express the folly of the Trump policy toward  this Caribbean island nation.

Dear Editor, Travelling occasionally by bus gives me the opportunity to experience the nitty-gritty of human interaction and views of the masses in Guyana. 

Dear Editor, As a keen observer of Guyana’s politics, governance, development processes; I would like to make the following observations on a few specific areas to which our political leadership/parties – both the old parties and new ones need to pay closer attention.

Dear Editor, By way of this letter I am asking the Peters Hall/Ramsburg NDC, the Ministry of Communities and the Ministry of Public Infrastructure to repair the Industrial Site Road in Eccles.
