Back with a bang!

Well, that did not take long. After spending almost all of the year on the US racing circuit, star cyclist Jamual John returned to Guyana with a bang, winning his first event in his first start on local soil for the 2019 season.

The Nation sports awardees were last evening honoured in fine style; hats off to the Christopher Jones led NSC.

NSC awards: Year of the basketball and racket-sports 

The curtain came down on the National Sports Commission (NSC) 2018 national sports awards ceremony at the Le Meridien Pegasus Hotel Friday evening with basketballer Stanton Rose and national table tennis ace Chelsea Edghill receiving the Senior Sportsman and Sportswoman-of-the-Year awards.
