Amid the various discussions of the diverse factors in play, the fundamental piece in mainstream Caribbean tourism is blue water and white sand; traverse the span as I have, from Puerto Rico in the north to tiny Bequia in the south, one will see that, and it is an understandable pull. 

Thrush-like Antpitta

The Thrush-like Antpitta (Myrmothera campanisona) is found in the Amazon Basin from eastern Colombia to the Guianas, south through Amazonian Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru, to northern Bolivia.

It’s here! Just in time for Christmas. Last weekend, I received the most beautiful, potted, red, velvet-like Poinsettia evoking the spirit of Christmas.

Broomhall

The Begonia commonly called Shell Rose was first discovered in Brazil by a Franciscan Monk, Charles Plumier in 1690, who named it after his favourite Botanist Michael Begon.
