A Buxton cane cutter was yesterday found dead aback the Buxton cane fields and it is believed that he ingested poison after chopping his wife.
Dead is Dexter Yaw, called ‘Wissy,’ 38, of Lot 74 Sideline Dam, Buxton, East Coast Demerara. Yaw’s lifeless body was found in the cane field with a bottle of poison next to it.
According to sources, the man and his wife, Yonette Yaw, 40, had an argument on Monday evening and he chopped her on her hands and breasts.
