Man shot dead in Middle Road
Known as ‘Inspector Gadget,’ he was wanted and was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Middle Road.
A man was shot dead or the Side Line Dam, Middle Road, La Penitence Iasi night reportedly by three men who escaped on foot.
‘Up to press time the man was still unidentified but many in the area were suggesting he may have been a well-known criminal wanted by the police.
According to reports al around 8:30 pm four men were seen entering the dam together. But residents say shortly after they heard three shots and one of the men was found dead. They said the three other men escaped in the direction of Laing Avenue on foot. One man revealed that the body of the victim, who was dressed in a white jersey, a black short pants and an. expensive pair of sneakers was on its back and it appeared as if he was shot in the right side of his head.
