Dear Editor,
I refer to the Guyana Chronicle’s front page article headlined “Harpy eagle killed on Linden-Lethem road” dated January 6, 2007.
Iwokrama International Centre had clearly investigated this matter since November 18, 2006, and concluded it was a deliberate act.
I commend them for it.
It seems many people do not understand the idea of endangered species and continue to destroy them.
