A 71-year-old pensioner was yesterday brought before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on two charges of carnally knowing a female under the age of fifteen.
William George of 9 Camp and D’Urban streets was not required to plead to the charges when they were read to him by Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.
It is alleged that on March 13 last year and between February 1 and 29 George had carnal knowledge of a 13-year-old female.
