Magistrate Krishendat Persaud sentenced a labourer to four years jail at the Springlands Court on Thursday after he admitted to throwing a corrosive substance on another man.
According to the facts of the case on January 29, John Warde also called John Bate, 33, of Kingston, Corriverton threw the substance on Otis Warde resulting in him suffering injuries to his head and face.
