Two women were remanded on a charge of abduction when they appeared before Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Brenda Armstrong, 55, of 647 Woodpecker Street, South Ruimveldt Gardens was charged with the abduction of a 13–year-old girl with the intention of secretly holding her against her will, while Claudette Dailey, 54, of the same address was charged for knowingly and willingly assisting Armstrong to commit the said act. Both women pleaded not guilty.
