Two young men were placed on a total of $255,000 bail after they pleaded not guilty to forgery charges pertaining to a US$100 note yesterday in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Nineteen-year-old Mikhail Baldeo of Grove Squatting Area and 20-year-old Henry Peries of Craig Street, Campbellville were jointly charged with having in their possession forged US currency, that is US$100, in Kingston on April 8. Baldeo was further charged with uttering false currency which he knew to be forged.
