Bandits last Saturday decided to ‘upgrade’ and stole a newly-purchased motorcycle from the yard of a Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice man leaving their bicycle behind and police have detained several persons as investigations continue.
Faizul Yusuf of 8 B Bush Lot told Stabroek News that the bandits apparently struck around 3-5 am on Saturday and had come on a bicycle and left it behind. He said that the bandits stole his Jialing 150 cc motorcycle that he had just purchased on Thursday along with two vehicle batteries.
