The Guyana Citizens’ Initiative (GCI) last week presented an update on its work mapping landfill and well sites to generate a sanitation index for regions three and four.
According to a press release the team, led by Daudi Husbands sought to establish the said sites in relation to population density in the regions under study. “This will be followed by ground-truthing exercises in the communities as part of GCI’s efforts to provide information and raise awareness on sanitation and health related issues,” the release said.
