Superior throttling gave Andrew King and Ryan Rahaman the edge over their opponents at the South Dakota Circuit yesterday as the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) held the second round of its National Race of Champions meet at the South Dakota Circuit.
The 23-race programme, which was sponsored mainly by the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company (GT&T), Sunburst Orange Juice and Carib Beer, saw King winning two races in Group Four and Rahaman sweeping the Group Three category.
Top driver Mark Vieira had a horrible day at the office with mechanical problems forcing him out of two of the three Group Four events.
