The implementation of the Value Added Tax (VAT) has caused tremendous pain, suffering and hunger for many citizens, especially in the hinterland communities. In addition, the relevant minister is often on television and radio glorifying his export record and calling on farmers to capitalize on the increase in the price of rice. Is this Dr Jagan’s PPP working class government?
