Pereira bowls Corentyne Comprehensive to 20/20 championship

A destructive spell of leg spin bowling from Berbice under-15 leg spinner Shawn Pereira  enabled Corentyne Compre-hensive High School (CCHS) to inflict a 7 wicket victory over Canje Secondary when the two met in the final of the inaugural Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club organized Kool Kidz Twenty20 tournament sponsored by the Guyana Beverage Company.

At right is the manager of CCHS Karl Vanier.Perreira took 4-2 from three overs as Canje Secondary who chose to bat first after winning the toss, were bowled out for 62 from 13 overs to which Corentyne Comprehensive replied with 64-3 after receiving a flying start from their openers.
