A 36-year-old man who robbed another of his wallet containing $40,000 in cash received a 12-month sentence when he appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Michael Gainer of 293 Lusignan West, East Coast Demerara pleaded guilty to the charge of robbery with violence when it was read to him by Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.
