Mon Repos parapet has been paved for vendors, not cars

Dear Editor,

I wish to add my comment on a similar issue concerning parking brought up by G. Singh and Mayor Hamilton Green. I go to the Mon Repos Market every Saturday, and as you probably know it’s one of the largest and busiest East Coast markets and attracts patrons from all parts of Guyana.

The one contention was always parking, and then I saw the parapet on the left-hand side upgraded,  paved and marked for what I assumed to be parking space for vendors as well as customers.
