Skeldon High School emerged top of their Upper Corentyne group when action in the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Republic Bank sponsored Right Start under-15 Inter secondary school cricket competition continued in the county of Berbice recently.
The group champions had resounding victories over Tagore Memorial Secondary and Skeldon Line Path Secondary respectively, with the latter ending as the group runners up on the back of some sterling contributions from middle order batsman Akram Razack who had scores of 58 and 48 and national under-15 cricketer Clinton Pestano who, in his new role of a medium pacer, took 10-53 in his two matches.
