This CR-V, PKK 2481 ended up in the trench on the eastern side of Sheriff Street after it collided with a taxi HB 3815 at the junction of Duncan and Sheriff streets yesterday.
According to an onlooker the CR-V was heading east on Duncan Street while the car was headed south on Sheriff Street.
The traffic lights at the junction were all in working order and no one is clear which of the drivers breached the lights. Both drivers escaped without any visibly serious injuries.
