Head of the Privatisation Unit Winston Brassington says that once Queens Atlantic Investment Inc comes good with its US$30M investment in the Sanata complex, the investors are free to exercise the option to buy the property at a price of $700M after three years.
But he explained that the price is denominated in US dollars and the foreign currency amount is US$3.5M, valued before any work was done on the property.
