A Michael Rowe double enabled Georgetown Football Club (GFC) to turn back the challenge of Uprising while defending champions Alpha United and Pele Football Club played to a 0-0 stale mate when action in the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Cellink Plus-sponsored Premier League competition continued at the Tucville ground last Friday.
Rowe opened his scoring account in the 31st minute and followed that up 11 minutes later with his second to ensure his team, who were dominant in the game, went away with a victory.
