Bobb cops fifth straight title at US Karate nationals

Troy Bobb shows off the trophy and plaque he won after gaining his fifth title at the United States Karate Alliance National Championships March 27-30 in Albuquerque, Mexico.Local martial arts expert Troy Bobb gained his fifth title at the United States Karate Alliance National Champion-ships which was held from March 27-30 in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the USA.    
In this his fifth appearance at the championships, Bobb managed to secure his fifth first place finish, this year in Musical Forms.

Bobb, who is the founder and sensei of the Harpy Eagles Martial Arts Academy, said that he has benefited tremendously from the experience of competing abroad and is happy to return home successful once again.

“I left Guyana on March 6th and during my time in America, I benefited from many seminars in New Mexico, Las Vegas and California. I also got the opportunity to teach at the Albuquerque Institute of Mathematics and Science and I am very happy to return home to my wife and to my students here to tell of my success,” he said.
