Ten children, who performed well at the National Grade Six Assessment, were awarded with bursaries by the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) on Tuesday. Those who received the awards were Yogeeta Persaud, the top student in the country for that examination; Arianna Seeraj; Shahrazaad Khan; Crystal Ramdayal; Ridwaan Safi; Kavita Sawh; Shaphan Hestick; Akash Jairam; Sherifa Valenzuela; and Vikash Horil.
