DDL aiming to juice up breakfast

Demerara Distillers Ltd in collaboration with PepsiCo on Tuesday launched and introduced to the Guyanese public its newest beverage, Tropicana 100% Orange Juice.

The product was launched at a breakfast at the Oasis, Le Meridien Pegasus Hotel under the theme ‘breaking the tea barrier’.
It underscored DDL’s growing relationship with PepsiCo, and PepsiCo’s trust and confidence in DDL’s plant, human resources, and systems to deliver a quality product that bears the Tropicana name.

DDL’s Marketing Director, Sharda Veeren-Chand who also spoke at the launch, stated that the beverage can supplement your tea at breakfast or, in some cases, replace tea altogether.

Also speaking at the breakfast launch was Nutritionist Penelope Harris, principal of the Carnegie Schools of Home Economics. Harris outlined the considerable nutritional benefits of including Tropicana’s 100% orange juice in a regular diet.

Tropicana 100% Orange Juice is manufactured and packed at DDL’s Tetra Pak Plant at Diamond and is available in stores nation wide. The product is also exported to several regional markets.
