On the prosperous road: Grace, Kennedy Remittance Services (Guyana) Limited yesterday awarded its December `Journey to Prosperity’ winners. The top winner was Hardat Singh who walked away with a cool $1M. Ten other persons carted off $50,000 each. They are Shawn Seabra, Ramdai Amanat, Rawatee Nandlall, Rabiean Alli, Sebeka Pooran, Shakeela Ramnarine, Maurice Forde, Kamal Balram, Raun Anderson and Ruth Allison.
To enter the contest, Western Union customers simply had to use their Western Union card when sending or receiving money. The promotion started in June and concluded this month. Seventy-seven winners won a total of $2.4M.
