A miner will appear in the Bartica Magistrate’s Court today after he was found with an unlicensed gun and two matching rounds during a police operation in the El Passo Backdam, 14 Miles Issano on Friday night.
According to the reports reaching Stabroek News, police went on an exercise in the area after receiving a report. While there they conducted a search and found a revolver and two rounds.
He was taken into police custody.
