Ravi Persaud, proprietor of Carpet House which is located in Pike Street, Kitty, said that he is normally a football fan and would always attend the tournament.

This year, Persaud said he felt that it was time assist with sponsorship of the popular event.

He also believes that given the popularity, media coverage and support the tournament receives, it is a great avenue for him to advertise and promote his business.

Persaud said that he hopes this will be the start of a long and fruitful relationship with the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation.

The organizers thanked Persaud for his timely gesture and said that they were looking forward to a lasting relationship with the company.

For Guymine.com, it was just a case of saying welcome aboard again as the website donated 40 balls branded with both their logo and that of the Kashif and Shanghai tournament for use in the tournament.

Guymine.com webmaster and owner Whiddon Sibdhannie, through representative Dexter Pembroke, sent his company’s best wishes for the tournament and said that they will no doubt be continuing their support of the event.

Meanwhile talks are underway between the parties to once again broadcast the final of the tournament on January 1 via the internet.

Last year, the two along with Muzik Media out of New Jersey along with Jamaica’s Hype TV relayed the final via Guymine.com.
