The Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) has advised that items being sent to overseas destinations in time for December 25 should be posted on or before December 11.
And persons wishing to send local mail should note that the deadline is December 19, the GPOC said in a news release.
The GPOC also stated that posting by these dates will increase the likelihood that the items will arrive on time for the holidays but persons may post prior to these specified dates.
Persons should also ensure that all items are correctly addressed and carry a return address.
