Pensioners will soon have to bear the cost for medication before seeking reimbursement from the National Insurance Scheme.
An ad appearing in yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek, reminded that a decision was taken to terminate the drug distribution programme with effect from January 1, 2010.
The NIS stated in the ad that it regrets any inconvenience which the decision may cause to those concerned.
