A woman who attempted to take cocaine to Jamaica hidden in a wig she was wearing was nabbed by ranks of the Police Narcotics branch on Tuesday at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri.
According to a release from the police, the woman was nabbed at the airport with 1 kilogramme and 10 grammes of cocaine around 03:15 hrs on Tuesday while she was an outgoing passenger to Jamaica. She remains in custody as investigations continue.
