The search of a tractor-trailer at Kamuni Creek, Demerara River on Thursday led to the discovery of a gun trap, cartridges and ganja beneath pieces of lumber.
Four men have since been detained for questioning.
According to a press release from the Police Public Relations Office, around 17:30 hrs ranks of a mobile police patrol stopped and searched the tractor-trailer and found 1kg 150 grammes of cannabis sativa, two 12-gauge cartridges and a gun trap.
Investigations are continuing.
