Philliama Millington was the only other player to reach double figures with 10.

Medium pacers Shamicka Estwick and Letita Myles conspired to destroy the SRSS batting line up snaring 3-13 and 3-24 respectively.

In reply, while CCSS mounted a valiant defence to their low score, SRSS eventually reached 77-5 from 17.3 overs.

Lashana Toussaint stroked the winning run that went for four in her undefeated innings of 27. Jocelle Joseph was the next highest scorer with 24.

Melissa Durant was the pick of the bowlers picking up two wickets for 16 runs and off-spinner Millington returned to lap up 2-23.

Toussaint was adjudged player-of-the-match and she also won the player with the most runs in the countrywide tournament.

At the presentation ceremony, acting president of the GCB Faizul Bacchus congratulated the teams for reaching the final and urged them to continue playing cricket since this will be the only way they will develop. Competitions Coordinator Colin Europe implored the lasses to be disciplined and to continue to ply their trade with dedication.
