The United States Southern Command’s Traditional Commander of Activities (TCA) program sponsored a three day Personnel Recovery subject matter exchange from February 16 to 18. The event was conducted at the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) with a number of participants from the Guyana Defence Force, the CDC, the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority, Maritime Administration and a few other agencies, a statement from the US Embassy said. The exchange consisted of discussions of the US and Guyana’s doctrinal to Search and Rescue, table top exercises based on past experiences/personnel recovery incidents in Guyana.
