Police recovered a stolen generator while searching a motor car at Reliance, Berbice, last Friday and the driver along with the two passengers have been arrested.
According to a police press release, around 15:50 hours police ranks stopped and searched a motor car at Reliance, Canje, Berbice, during which a Yamaha electrical generator was found. The generator has been identified as having been stolen from the premises of Baljit Bissoon of Reliance Abandon, Canje, Berbice, last Thursday.
The driver and two other men who were in the vehicle have been arrested and are in police custody. The motor vehicle has also been detained, as investigations continue.
