Bath Estate FC of Dominica yesterday failed to arrive in Guyana for their Caribbean Football Union clash with Alpha United which was scheduled to take place today at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground.
President of Alpha United Odinga Lumumba last night told Stabroek Sport that the Dominica team was experiencing flight problems.
According to Lumumba, the tournament might now have to be played on Thursday, Friday and Sunday or Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday.
Lumumba, however, disclosed that Suriname’s Walking Boys will be arriving today.
Meanwhile Lumumba said the Guyana Football Federation has informed him that the Guyana Defence Force team will now be a part of the group.
